latex209-src software package provides source files of macros of LaTeX 2.09 25-mar-1992 version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install latex209-src
latex209-src is installed in your system.
Make ensure the latex209-src package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep latex209-src *
